"LIONEL ARAYA"
Lionel Araya has more than 15 years of experience and is the Grand Champion of the 1997 International Street Dance Champion in Los Angeles, USA. He is also a choreographer, teacher, and an accomplished dancer.

Having created dance sequences for CBS and Warner Brothers (Hollywood, USA), he has also appeared as an actor/dancer on the CBS production of Mrs Santa Claus, which starred Angela Landsbury, and has toured in the Power Rangers World Tour from 1994 to 1996. He is also the founding member of "Groovaloos" (Los Angeles).

Locally,he has showcased his works in Singapore Hits Awards 1999, OUB 50th Dinner & Dance, Asian Tourism Awards 1999, Millennium Countdown, Singapore Radio Hit Music Awards 2000, Mediacorp’s Ren Ci Charity show (2005) and Chingay (1998 and 2005).

Lionel's international accomplishments include organising dance conventions in his native country, Costa Rica, and conducting his popular dance workshops in Manila, Bali, Chennai, and Singapore.

Lionel’s choreography was voted among the best in the Annual West Coast Salsa Congress, Los Angeles (1999 - 2002).
